She had been a resident here for the past 28 years, formerly of Galena, Ohio, and was one of the founders of Big Arts on Sanibel.Surviving are her husband, Peter G. Smith of Ft. Myers, daughters, Cynthia Haas of South Bend, Indiana, Lisa Pierot of Ft. Myers, Carrie Ross of Winchester, Virginia, son, Adamm Smith of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, brother, Tim Bradford of Morehead, North Carolina and 11 grandchildren.Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, Carolyn preferred memorials be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Ft.
