Carolyn Patricia Stephens CHESNEE, SC-- Carolyn Patricia Blackwell Stephens, 71, of 114 Blackwell Road, widow of Dwight Edwin Stephens went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, April 30, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Stephens was born November 16, 1938, in Chesnee to the late Nonnie Nesbitt Blackwell and Lucille Jolley Blackwell. Along with her late husband she was a former owner of T & S Manufacturing and was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Keeter and husband Paul of Chesnee; son, Rev. Timmy Stephens and wife Patty of Wellford; sister, Freda Robinson and husband Ansel of Chesnee; grandchildren, Angel Bradley and husband Scott of Chesnee, Joey Thompson of Chesnee, Rev. Keith Stephens and wife Jennifer of Spartanburg, Brian Stephens of Wellford, Eric Stephens of Wellford, and Tyler Stephens of Wellford; great-grandchildren, Cara Thompson, Skyler Emanuele, Cullen Bradley, all of Chesnee, and Nolan Stephens of Spartanburg and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded by a brother, Defoy Blackwell; sister, Doris Smith; and sister-in-law, Loretta Tyler. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Bobo Funeral Chapel, 1860 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 3, 2010, at Piedmont Baptist Church with the Reverends Larry Flemming and Timmy Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Stephens will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM Monday, May 3, 2010.
