Carolyn Lloyd Robinson September 21, 1937- May 19, 2014 Midland, GA- Carolyn Lloyd Robinson, 76 of Midland, Georgia passed away Monday May 19, 2014 at the Midtown Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday May 22, 2014 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. with burial in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M at the funeral home. Mrs. Robinson was born September 21, 1937 in Columbus, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late James Harold Lloyd and Virginia Frances Elliott Lloyd. She earned her batchelor's degree in Business Administration from Troy University and later graduated from the Army Management Staff College in Virginia. She was retired with 30 years of service from civil service as an Occupational Safety and Health Manager, was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Pi and was Methodist by faith. Survivors include her husband Fraser Fleming Robinson of Midland, GA, two daughters, Ginny Rayne and husband Jack of Boise, ID, Valerie Bennett and husband Rick of Gulf Shores, AL, sister, Mary Jim Stallings and husband Roger of Oviedo, FL, four grandchildren, Brian and Brad Rayne, Corey Tidwell, Casey Smith, six great grandchildren, Lucas, Ryder, C.J., Reason, Brookelynn and KayLee.
