<!-- FH = Trahan Family Funeral Home -->Carolyn Johnson-Thorsen1948-2012Carolyn "Anniebean" Johnson-Thorsen, 63, of Pace passed away on February 21, 2012.She had lived in Pace for the last 24 years and was previously a resident of Quincy, FL. She learned to fish with her dad and loved it ever since. She loved to cook southern food. She enjoyed Chinese food, dancing, and camping. She loved to dress up, to race up and down the highway in a '57 Chevy, and was the #1 Florida Gator fan. Carolyn was very giving. She was big hearted and turned no one away who needed help. Carolyn traveled with her brother, Terry from the East Coast to the West Coast and traveled to South Florida to pick oranges. She became a mother of seven children.She loves her granddaughter, Felicity and took pride in raising her for seven years.She was preceded in death by: her father, L.C. Johnson; mother, Hazel Sheppard-Johnson; and sister, Annette Johnson-Pendarvis.Survivors include: children, Brenda Golden (Tim), Rhonda Buck, Johnny Horton (Kathy Meredith), Tequila Anderson (Kenny Baird), Michael Thorsen (Ashley), Rachel Beasley (James Eddings), and Gary Thorsen; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Terry Johnson (JoNell), Larry Johnson, Ronnie Johnson (Mary), Robert Johnson (Bobbie), and Troyce Johnson (Camille).Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church, 8080 South Airport Rd., Milton, FL.Visitation will be held two hours prior to service.Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Express your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
