Carolyn Ann Snyder Harris, 60, wife of Norman Reid Harris Sr., of 206 Moore's Mill Road, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, S.C., following a long battle with leukemia. Born in Morgan County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Ray and Lucille Johnson Snyder. She was the former owner of Harris Tire Service. In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Reid and Kim Harris of Pelzer, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Angelia Roberts of Swansboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Kacie Renee Harris and Kayla Jeannine Harris; three stepgrandchildren, Alison Inman, Jennifer Barrington, and Brandi Nelms; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Paula Renee Harris. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. this evening at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, S.C., with the Rev. Jimmie Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be on Saturday at Culldee Presbyterian Church Cemetery in East Wood, N.C.
