Carolyn Epting Carter - SNELLVILLE - Carolyn Epting Carter, age 70, of 3858 Trenton Drive passed away at Eastside Emory Hospital on July 22, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Wallace Houseal Epting and Elise Ziegler Epting, an infant son Michael Helmley, and son Michael Stuart Carter. Mrs. Carter was retired from the Department of Defense and a very active and devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lilburn, Georgia. She was affectionately known as "Honey" to almost everyone she knew and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Richard A. Carter, Jr. and her children; Beth Fullard (Terry) of Waycross, GA Richard A Carter III (Patricia) of Charlotte, NC, Elise Clark (Ted) of Ocean Springs, MS, Tom Carter (Lisa) of Roswell, GA, Erin Hill (Tommy) of Spartanburg, SC, Chris Carter of Atlanta, Ga, and a step-daughter Michelle Nelson of Gilroy, CA; nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lilburn, GA and officiated by Pastor Dale Sillik.
