SMITH, Carolyn Elizabeth (nee Wilson) July 14, 1921 - January 23, 2008 Carolyn Elizabeth Smith (nee Wilson), born July 14, 1921, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Carol was a registered nurse, Class of 1943; married Wally Smith, CA; later owned the Bookcellar in Hamilton, Ontario; served on the Board of Directors for Mohawk College and a trustee for the local school board. Here in Calgary, she helped establish and manage the Glenbow Museum Gift Shop before retiring to live an even fuller, remarkable life. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta, Kim, Karen; her son, Drew; grandchildren, Kate, Christine, Emma, Cameron, Nathan and numerous friends. Thank you to the many people who contributed to her well being, especially the Carewest Royal Park staff. A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at a later date, which will be announced.
