HOOD, CAROLYN D., 70, of Lebanon Junction, KY, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at Jewish-South Hospital. She was the former Carolyn D. Steier, a Louisville native, a retired employee form Paytons and a member of the 4th Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Steier Sr. and Ida Mae Steier; and a sister, Doris Logsdon. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Charles P. Hood, a sister, Mary LaDuke (Herman); three brothers, George Steier Jr. (Diana), Larry Steier (Margie) and Jerry Steier; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Hood will be noon Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children or to 4th Presbyterian Church.
