The service will be at 1 p.m. EST Saturday, Jan. 10, at New Mount Zion AME Church, with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139) is handling arrangements. Survivors include a son, Frederick Smith; her mother, Sallie Smith; three brothers, Darrelyer Chambers, Ira G, Smith (Ida) and Derick Smith; and one sister, Diane Smith Moore (Terris); one aunt, Bertha L. McFadden; all of Tallahassee; one uncle, Solomon Gardner (Jean) of Longview, Texas; four nephews; five nieces; and a host of cousins and friends.
