CAROLEE AUSTINPETERSON, 85 LAKELAND - Mrs. Carolee Austin Peterson, 85, died on March 24, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of complications from a fall. She was born June 20, 1924 in San Jose, California. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Junior League of Greater Lakeland and Chapter CP PEO Sisterhood. Mrs. Peterson was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, William J. Peterson. Survivors include her son, Brooke A. (Stephannie) Peterson, Ft. Myers, Fl., daughter, Deborah P. Thurmond, Knoxville, Tn., son, Mark A. (Susan) Peterson, Franklin, Tn., 8 grandchildren, Austin (Dawn) Peterson, Brian (Jane) Peterson, Blaine (Keri) Peterson, Sarah Thurmond, John Thurmond, Kim (Scott) Brisson, Caroline (Scott) O'Connell, Norris Peterson, and 7 great grandchildren, Carter Brisson, Jack Peterson, Stella Peterson, Gray Brisson, Cullen Peterson, Max Peterson and Cole Peterson. Memorial services will be held on Monday March 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM at The First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33803.
