Carole V. Rahnenfuhrer (nee Smith), 89, of Kenilworth, N.J., passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, May 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, N.J. Please be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. She was an assembler for the American Can Company in Hillside, N.J., for 25 years before retiring in 1978. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur G. Rahnenfuhrer. Surviving are three sons, Robert R., Kurt and his wife, Kathy, and Scott Rahnenfuhrer, and three daughters, Karen A. Russo and her husband, Aniello, Jacquelyn Foley and her husband, John, and Carolyn Barakat and her husband, Tarek. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
