Carol H. (Hohn) Myers, 61, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. She was born August 25, 1947, in Greensburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Estella H. (Hoyman) Hohn. Carol was a member of Campbell United Methodist Church, Springfield, Missouri, and a church group, the "P.A.C.E." class. She and her fellow members also kindly crocheted prayer shawls. She will be sadly missed and is survived by her loving family, devoted children, Rob Myers of Missouri, and Dwayne Myers and his wife, Amy of Ohio; sister, Linda Munden of Greensburg, Pa.; a niece; two nephews; and her godson. She will be especially missed by her faithful companions, her beloved granddogs, Chloe, Bruno and Kirby. Family and friends will be received from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, in Vaia Funeral Home, Inc., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, Pa., (724)468-1177. Carols funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., in the funeral home, immediately following the visitation, with Rev. James R. Wagner of Faith United Methodist Church, Delmont, Pa., officiating. Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
