Carol Dunn of Leominster, active at Fitchburg church; 65 LEOMINSTER Carol (Thomas) Dunn, 65, of Leominster, MA, died Tuesday, August 4, at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital. Carol will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Carol was born on November 28, 1943, in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of the late George O. and Betty (Henderson) Thomas. She was a graduate of Lunenburg High School Class of 1962. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time as a volunteer at the former Burbank Hospital, and was an active member of Highland Baptist Church. Surviving Carol are her three children, Melissa Leary and her husband, Shaun, their children, Caulen and Kelsey, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; David Dunn and his wife, Michelle, their children Alyssa and Jamison, all of Gardner, MA; Christopher Dunn and his wife, Sherry, their children, McKenna, Bailey and Camryn, all of Hollis, NH. She also leaves a brother, George Thomas of Townsend, MA; and two sisters, Bonnie Ciuffetti of Lunenburg, MA, and Kerry Jaquith of E. Brookfield, MA. DUNN Family and friends are invited to a visitation hour to be held at Highland Baptist Church, 27 Cedar St., Fitchburg, on Saturday, August 8, from 2 - 3 PM. The funeral service will follow visitation, at 3 o'clock. Pastor Peter Temple will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date in South Cemetery, Lunenburg, MA.
