GREENFIELD, Mass. -- Carol Ann (Dunleavy) Smith, 66, of 14 East Cleveland St. died on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.She was born in Greenfield on Jan. 21, 1941, the daughter of John H. and Helen M. (Baronas) Dunleavy Sr. She graduated from St. Michael's High School in Brattleboro, Vt.Mrs. Smith has been a waitress at Bill's Restaurant in Greenfield for more than 35 years and was also employed at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center for 14 years in the food service department.She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Greenfield. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and reading.She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Roger H. Smith; a son, Robert C. Smith of Denver; two daughters, Karin (Hass) McDonald of Greenfield and Heidi Haas of Millers Falls; one grandson, Michael R. Tombs of Millers Falls; three brothers, John H. Dunleavy, Jr. of Milford, N.H., James Dunleavy of Hinsdale, N.H., and Francis Dunleavy of Brattleboro; one sister, Rosemary George of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Thursday at 8:15 a.m. from the KOSTANSKI FUNERAL HOME, 220 Federal St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, with the Rev. Ronald G. Yargeau officiating.
