Carol A. (Dooley) Fiske, formerly of Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Weymouth on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011. She was 72 years of age. Beloved wife of 50 years to Paul G. Fiske. Devoted mother of Paula E. F. Martel married to James of Weymouth, Lisa M. Fiske Heger of Braintree and Thomas B. Fiske of Weymouth. Loving sister of Elizabeth M. Gallagher fiancee of Herb Mullaly of Dorchester and Thomas P. Dooley married to Diane Basler of Kingston. Proud Grammy of Matthew, David, Lindsey and Alexander. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Raised and educated in Dorchester, Carol was a graduate of Cathedral High School. She had lived in Weymouth for 46 years. Carol was retired from Sovereign Bank in 2000. She had previously worked as a data entry operator and supervisor for the Stop & Shop Companies and at Boston University. Carol enjoyed cooking and entertaining but above all, her life evolved around her family. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main St., (Rte. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Sacred Heart Church at 9:30 and burial in the Veterans National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
