TORRES-Carmen(nee Valentin) Passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at her home in Texas, at age 90. She was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, January 25, 1923. Lived in New Jersey for many years, resided in Texasfor her final 5 years.Loving daughter of AlpianoTorres & Placidad Valentin. Devoted mother of 9children, M. Renta, Jarmina Cortes, Marisol Cortes, Zoraida Cortes, MariaSantillana (Cortes), Santa Perez (Cortes) Jacinta Mundo (Cortes), PedroCortes & William Cortes& Luis Cortes (deceased). She is survived by 1 sister and pre-deceased by 2 brothers & 1 sister. Also survived by 35 grandchildren and10 great grandchildren,and many loving niecesand nephews. Will be missed by many family and friends.We will miss her smileand desire to live life, dance and sing. Mom, we all love you and we are heart broken with your departure.
