AUGUSTA -- A Mass of Christian burial for Carmen E. Cyr, who died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, was celebrated Friday morning, Feb. 29, 2008, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Boisvert, parochial vicar, officiating.Altar servers were Gerard Rouleau and Lorraine Noel. Organist was David Stewart and soloist was Tina Theberge.The reading was given by a granddaughter, Angela Phillis. Taking part in the Offertory procession were Angela Phillis and a grandson, David Cyr Jr.There were representatives from the Church, Ladies of St. Anne Society and St. Paul's Cursillos. Pallbearer was a cousin, Paul Cyr.Burial will be in the spring in St. Augustine Cemetery, Townsend Road, Augusta.Arrangements were under the direction of Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
