Charles Thomas Fallon beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on May 19, 2010. Charlie, a resident of Thiells since 1975, was born and raised in the Bronx. He worked in advertising for over 40 years. Most recently he worked part time at South Orangetown Recreation. Charlie is survived by his wife Sabina, son Michael (Amanda) Fallon of Delmar, NY and daughters Maureen (Mark) Hyatt of Tomkins Cove and Kathleen (Christopher) Sheldon of Stony Point. He leaves behind six grandchildren who were the light of his life Patrick and Megan Fallon, Julia and Jessica Hyatt and Kaitlyn and Allyson Sheldon. Charlie was an avid sports fan, tennis player, photographer, and kayaker. He had many dear friends and valued every one of them. Over his lifetime Charlie volunteered with Big Brothers, The North Rockland Soccer Association, Special Olympics, and Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of the Hudson River Boat & Yacht Club, Haverstraw Elks, and looked forward to his outings with the Romeos. Friends and Family may call on Friday, May 21 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the T.J. McGowan Funeral Home, GARNERVILLE. Charles Mass of Christen Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 22 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
