Catherine R. Ryan, a lifetime Peekskill resident died on October 30, 2004 at 100 years old. Miss Ryan was born February 8, 1904, to James and Rose Doherty. She was a communicant at Assumption Church, Peekskill, and throughout her lifetime had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Rosary. Miss Ryan was employed as a seamstress at Peekskill Sportwear, Peekskill for many years, retiring in 1973. She is survived by her cousin Rita Guzzardo of Peekskill, and predeceased by brother James Ryan and sisters Elizabeth Ryan, Rose Hughes and Mary Ryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Assumption Church, Peekskill, at 10AM on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Visiting at Dorsey-Carlone Funeral Home on Monday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
