ATWELL, Catherine Deason, age 90, a resident of Troy, AL., died Sunday, July 6, 2003 at a Crystal River, FL as-sisted living center. Visitation will be held from Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Dillard Fu-neral Home Chapel in Troy, Wed-nesday, July 9, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Malone Chandler officiat-ing. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Knox Street, Troy, AL. with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Mrs Atwell was the daughter of the late Matthew and Lula Browder Deason, and a native and former resident of Troy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Atwell; a daughter, Sarah Catherine Huggins of Char-lotte, North Carolina; and a sister, Jennie Mae Holt of Montgomery. Mrs. Atwell and her late husband were the owners and operators, for 40 years, of Atwell's Garage, Ser-vice Station and Cafe on the Mont-gomery Highway, just north of Troy.Survivors include a daughter, Bob-bie Jean Barnes of Crystal River, Florida; granddaughter, Margaret (Bill) Green, Kingwood, Texas; grandson, David (Maribeth) Hug-gins, Monroe, North Carolina; four great grandchildren, Jilian, Allison and Candice Huggins, Monroe, North Carolina, Vic (Courtney) Green, Kingwood, Texas; great great granddaughter, Ella Green, Kingwood, Texas; son-in-law, Bill Huggins, Charlotte, North Carolina.
