HENDERSON, CAROLYN G. Carolyn Grundy Henderson, age 89 of Gainesville, FL passed away at her home on Monday June 7, 2010. She and Robinson L. Henderson were married at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Darien, GA in 1937 and moved to Gainesville in 1946. Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and the Junior League of Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her husband Robinson L. Henderson, a son Robinson L. Henderson, Jr., a brother Frederick L. Grundy. She is survived by her sons James "Dink" Henderson (Peggy) and Fred L. Henderson (Karen), a sister May Grundy Henderson, her eight grandchildren Kristin H. Carden (Cliff), Robin H. Leavengood (Ian), Frederick L. Henderson, Jr.(Erin), Robinson L. Henderson, III (Kim), Marla Schenck (Jeff), Kelly L. Henderson, Erin E. Henderson, and James D. Henderson, III, also her seven great grandchildren Seth Carden, Eli Carden, Creed Carden, Abigail Schenck, Isabelle Schenck, Caroline Thaxton, and Josephine Henderson. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday June 11, 2010 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church 100 NE 1st Street Gainesville, FL. 32601. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday at St. Andrews Cemetery in Darien, Ga.
