Carol Marion Mitchell, 57, died June 12, 2006, at her home. She was born in Morristown, N.J., and lived in Hobe Sound for 32 years, coming from Morristown. She was co-owner and operator of Mitchell Flooring Service in Stuart for the past 20 years. Prior to that, she was a beautician for 10 years. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, William F. Mitchell of Hobe Sound; daughters, Karen Bennett and Sharon Brooks, both of Stuart; father, David Robertson of Hobe Sound; and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3:30 to 4 p.m. June 20 at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart. A service will follow.
