DELAND - Carol Mitchell, 64, of South Blue Lake Avenue, a native of Washington, D.C., died Tuesday at Oakwood Garden. Mrs. Mitchell, a homemaker, came here from Maryland in 1962. She was a member of the 4-H Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, Lake Helen, the Cattle Men and Women Association and was an honorary fair director for the Future Farmers of America. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, William; two daughters, Peggy and Mary Mitchell, both of DeLand; two brothers, Patrick Duley, Maryland, and Clark Duley, Missouri; a sister, Alevia Duley, Maryland; and 11 grandchildren. Lankford, DeLand, is in charge.
