MITCHELL, Carol Ann (Long time teacher at Northern Secondary School and Danforth Collegiate & Technical Institute.) Passed away at Toronto on Saturday, May 3, 2003 at the age of 60 after a brief illness. Beloved sister of Jim (Adrienne), Sarasota Florida, John (Sandra), Toronto, Barbara (Joe), Stoney Creek. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog Cruz. Carol was a marathon runner and tri-athlete who competed successfully in many events around the world. Carol was very venturesome and her events brought her to remote parts of the world. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, Toronto on Wednesday 6-9p.m. and Thursday, 12-1 p.m. for Funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. In Carol's memory memorial donations may be made to the Burlington Society for Animal Aid Inc., 2319 Fairview St., Burlington ON L7R 2E3 or to your favourite charity.
