ObituaryCarol Jean Connolly passed away on Sept 3, 2009 at Joanna's House Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL. She was born on May 30, 1929 at Frank Clay, MO but was raised and spent her entire youth in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Bernice (Arenz) Cunningham.In 1952 Carol married Dr. Robert E. Connolly. They moved to Pontiac, IL where Dr. Connolly opened his chiropractic and alternative medical practice. They spent 39 years in Pontiac where they raised their four children. Carol was a vivacious person and well liked by all that knew her. She was an accomplished artist and decorator and produced many beautiful watercolors and charcoals. She was a great dancer and was in much demand as a partner at the Entre Nous Dance Club dinner dances.In 1989, she and Bob retired to Bonita Springs, FL. They had been members of Spanish Wells C. C., Bonita Springs C.C., and the San Carlos C.C.She is survived by Bob, her loving husband of 60 years, her four children, Linda Fleming, Batavia, IL, Janis Bonifas, Batavia, IL, Steven, Houston, TX and Mark ( Karla) Pontiac, IL. She is also survived by her brother Keith Cunningham (Babs), Bluffton, SC.
