MITCHELL, CARLHawthorne, FL - Carl Mitchell of Hawthorne, FL and Londonderry, NH left this world on January 20, 2014 after losing his battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Margaret Morgan Mitchell; children, Susan of Machester, NH, Carl, Jr. (Laura) of Dunbarton, NH, Shirley Polvere (Jerry) of Gainesville, FL, Raymond of Manchester, Shelly and Joseph Morrissey of Weathersfield, CT, and Brian and Wendy of Goffstown, NH; sisters-in-law, Patricia of Weymouth, MA, Catherine Carpenter of Dorchester, MA, Dorothy Reed (Paul) of Kingston, MA, Jean Blackler (Robert) of East Boston, MA; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and many, many friends. Carl was in the US Marine Corps in the 1950's attaining the rank of Tech Sgt. Later on he ran his own business of building and installing commercial kitchen equipment for over 40 years in Dorchester, MA before having a stroke and retiring. He will be missed by us all. A Funeral Mass will be said for Carl at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at St. Jude's Church on Mammoth Rd. in Londonderry, NH. All are welcome to attend.
