C. Robert Golding 1935-2014 The death of Robert Golding of Saint John, husband of Beatrice Ann Golding (Hovey) occurred on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on July, 14, 1935 in Saint John to the late Frank and Delphine (Deveau) Golding. Prior to his retirement, Robert worked in small machinery repair. He was truly a man of all trades, who especially enjoyed sewing and helping friends with various work projects. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his children, Jerome (Heather) of Ottawa, Dawn of Calgary, Darren of Halifax, Amber Leigh of Halifax and Andrew of Edmonton; granddaughters, Chelsea and Carolina; Beatrice’s children and their families; the Martin children and their families; several nieces and nephews; as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his thirteen siblings and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, which will be immediately followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 2:00 PM, all from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.BrenansFH.com
