POWELL, C. Link, 48, of Land O' Lakes, died Friday, October 20, 2006, in a car accident. He was born in Starke, Fla., and was a lifelong Florida resident. Link was a land acquisition specialist; he enjoyed his job and everyone he worked with. He was the "preem" outdoors-man, loved all water sports and snow skiing, was an avid reader and loved his cat, Cleetus. He is survived by his mother, Dawn Martin; father, Vance Powell; sisters, Robin Powell and Shannon Vaughn; brother, Pascal Powell; also nieces, Jessica Powell Ruddock and Tegan Powell, and nephew, Wesley Vaughn; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Link will be affection-ately remembered by all of his family, friends and co-workers. Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 29, at Tims Memorial Presbyterian Church, 601 Sunset Lane, Lutz, Fla. A reception will follow at the church.
