LEE Burma Mae Mom ended her courageous battle with cancer on October 17, 2008. She was predeceased by husband Herbert in 1998, and will be dearly missed by her children Stephanie (Alvin), Chris (Garnet), Ian (Pearl), Doug (Derek), and grandchildren Ashley, Tiffany, Jessica, Alexander and Jennifer. Tears will flow when we reflect on Mom's loving kindness, generosity, wisdom, laughter, cooking, and baking. The family would like to thank everyone who provided Mom with loving care and support during her illness, including Dr. Angela Lee, staff at St. Paul's Palliative Care Unit, Palliative and Hospice Care, South Community Health Office and BC Cancer Agency. A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Cancer Foundation in memory of Burma Lee.
