Bruce-Alfred Harding, conjoint de Ivy Harding, fils de Alfred et Mabel, père de Marilyn, Sk et Dianne, est décédé à l'âge de 83 ans.
HARDING _The passing of Bruce Alfred Harding occurred on Saturday the 18th day of October 2003 at St. Ann's Home at the age of 83. Bruce leaves to mourn his wife of 60 years, Ivy; daughter, Dianne (Gene) Chovin of Christopher Lake, SK; grandchildren, Kristine Chovin, Lisa Chovin and her husband Matt von Hollen of Rocky Mountain House, AB and Regan Chovin of Calgary, AB; brother, Frank of Saskatoon, SK; two sisters, Doris Best and Joyce Hughes, both of Saskatoon, SK; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Marilyn; parents, Alfred and Mabel Harding; two nephews, Dennis and Stan Best; two brothersin-law, Bill Best and Bob Hughes. Bruce served in the RCAF from 1941 to 1945, then went back to farming for 36 years. He and Ivy retired to Outlook for 20 years, and in 2001 moved to Saskatoon. Bruce was an avid sportsman with curling, trap shooting and golf being his favorite sports. When sudden legal blindness struck him in 2002, he expressed great appreciation for 81 years of excellent vision, which enabled him to travel south for 30 winters. In lieu of flowers contributions in Bruce's name may be made to the CNIB, 1705 McKercher Dr, Saskatoon, SK, S7H 5N6. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Ron McConnell and Joan Brown. Bruce's cremated remains will be laid to rest beside his little daughter at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to PARK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 244 2103.
