Brenda Stephens Miller of Peachtree City, Ga., went to her Heavenly Home on December 2, 2007. Born in Anderson, S.C. on Oct. 12, 1948, she graduated from Clemson University and was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. Brenda was the "Woman Behind the USAF Pilot" residing in many locations overseas and stateside with her husband, John. She was a school teacher for a number of years culminating with many memorable years at Redland Oaks Elementary in San Antonnio, Texas. Brenda fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her zest for life and loving concern for everyone she met has brightened many lives.She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John; son, Toby and his wife, Larissa and grandsons, Cody and Wyatt of Dillsboro, N.C. She is the daughter of Alice Stephens and the late William Stephens of Anderson. She is also survived by her sisters, Fredda and husband, Tom Robinson, of Tupelo, Miss., Paula and her husband, Rick Mitchell, of Denver, N.C., and Wiggie and husband, Mark Bitter, of Glen Cove, N.Y.; brother-in-law, David and his wife, Jane Miller, of Norcross, Ga.; nieces, Carter and Anna Bitter of Glen Cove, N.Y.; nephews, Ty Robinson of Tupelo, Miss., Will Robinson of Los Angeles, Calif. and Matthew Miller of Columbus, Ohio.A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, Ga. A graveside service and burial will be at Old Silver Brook Cemetery, 1405 White Street, Anderson SC at 12 p.m. on December 5, 2007. Pastors John Weber and Miriam Beecher will officiate.
