Brenda Joyce Williams, 60, of Seymour passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.Born Dec. 10, 1950, in Seymour, she was the daughter of the late John Haley and Lucretia (Terrell) Haley.On June 21, 1997, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, she married Michael L. Williams, who survives.She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Seymour High School. Brenda was employed in district sales by Bridgepointe Goodwill; prior to this she had been a manager at Walmart Distribution Center in Seymour. Cooking was a passion for Brenda and she was an accomplished semi-gourmet chef.Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Jonathon Dale (Melinda) Horton, Timothy Wayne (Catherine) Horton and Brooke Marie Williams; grandchildren, Hana, Mercedes, Sawyer, Brady and Lucy; a brother, John (Charlotte) Haley; and a sister, Nancy Cottrill.She was preceded in death by her father and brother, David Michael Haley.Funeral services will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, the Rev. Philip Bloch and the Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez officiating.
