->DAVIS, Brendaage 65 of Corning, NY. She was born August 4, 1947 in Elmira and passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 unexpectedly at her home. Born to Charles R. Davis and the late Sarah Jones, she was predeceased by her mother; stepmother Gloria Davis and brother Leon. She is survived by her children Abdul Muhammad of Rochester, Akil Muhammad of N. Ft. Myers, FL, Kalimah Muhammad of New York and Ali Muhammad of Elmira; father Charles R. Davis of Elmira; sisters Patricia A Jones of Elmira, Marie, Lori, Jessie and Cheryl all of Rochester; brother Charles Ricky Davis of Elmira along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brenda worked in the health care field for over 30 years and was a member of Faith to Face Ministries in Corning. Family and friends are invited to visit Shabach Tabernacle, 1133 Lake St., Elmira on Friday, January 11th from 10 am to 12 noon. Her funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Bishop Mark Vaughan will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
