Bonnie W. Henderson of Florence died March 3, 2002.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Highland Baptist Church, Florence, with the Revs. Jim Warren and Bud Mayfield officiating.A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Gallman Cemetery, Gallman, Miss.Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.Mrs. Henderson was a native of Jackson, Miss. and a member of Highland Baptist Church of Florence.Bonnie was a Christian of deep faith and commitment. She was a devoted supporter of her husbands ministry and a dedicated church worker for many years.Bonnie was a loving and devoted mother, who made the rearing of her children a career of first choice. Her life was blessed with many longtime friends and new ones as well. She counted it a privilege to represent Christ in her long, fruitful life.She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Bill Henderson, Florence; son, Bill Henderson Jr. and wife, Monica, Dallas, Texas;daughter, Wauwice Henderson, Lake Charles, La.; sister, Merle Smith, Canton, Texas; brother, Billy Welch, Gallman, Miss.; grandchildren, Kristi Zito and husband, Mike, Austin, Texas, Todd Henderson and wife, Shannon, Arlington, Va.Pallbearers will be friends of Highland Baptist Church.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Shoals or Highland Baptist Church Building Fund.
