BONNIE MARIAN JOHNSON (NEE ONDO) HIGHLAND, IN Bonnie Marian Johnson (nee Ondo), age 62 of Highland, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010. Bonnie was a fighter to say the least, and an inspiration to all. She had the kindest of hearts and the most love for life. Her lively spirit always brought a smile and a laugh to those who were around her. Bonnie worked as a bank teller at First Financial Bank in downtown Highland for many years before her illness. She enjoyed her coworkers and customers very much. She loved to spend her spare time with family through dining out, watching movies, shopping, and just simply time together at home. Bonnie is survived by two daughters: Brandy (Brandon) Maynard of Crown Point and Brooke (Sean) Luchene of East Chicago; grandchildren: Isaac, Kalei, and one on the way, Kendall Marian; and two grandpups: Tiger and Bella. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Ondo of Highland; brother, Zigmund (Martha) Ondo of Crown Point; cousin, Rosemarie (Jim) Smith, and her boyfriend, Jacob Moore of Highland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Zigmund Ondo of Highland; and brother, Fred Ondo of Munster. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave., Highland, IN with Rev. Sky Allen officiating. Burial at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
