PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Bonnie D. Johnson, 58, of 151 Onota St., died Jan. 9, 2007, at Brigham Women’s Hospital where she had been a patient for the past three weeks following a brief illness. Born June 22, 1948, in Great Barrington, the daughter of Charles D. Hessler and Barbara G. Hammer May, she was a 1967 graduate of Pittsfield High School.Mrs. Johnson was employed by Lipton Energy as a cashier and assistant manager in the local Lipton Marts, most recently at the West Housatonic Street location for the past five years.She leaves her husband, Edward S. Johnson, whom she married May 1, 1992. Survivors include a daughter, Lyndsey Johnson of Pittsfield; two sons, Keith Clouser of Pittsfield and Marc Clouser of Perth, N.Y.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Campbell and her fiance, Michael Calicchia of Bennington, Vt., and Peggy Jenks and her husband Vernon of Bondville, Vt.; two brothers, Charles Hessler and his wife, Joanne, of Pittsfield, and Robert May of Concord, N.C.; five nieces and six nephews, seven great-nieces and three great-nephews. A brother, William Hessler, predeceased her in 2004.Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Johnson, who died Jan. 9, 2007, will be held Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Wellington Funeral Home with the Rev. Irene Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the West Stockbridge Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home at 220 East St.
