David Robert "Bobby" Williams, 62, of 284 Williams Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late David Lee and Willie Nell Ivie Williams. He loved his country and served in the U.S. Air Force. He served as Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 312 in Piedmont. He was Road Captain of the Christian Motorcyclist Association, Spring Water Disciples Chapter, and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, where he served as Chairman of the Deacons and as the teacher of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Dianne Williams and Anita L. Brooks, both of Piedmont; a granddaughter, Nikki L. Brooks; a sister, Joyce Williams of Fort Mill; and two nieces, Donna Morton Stikeleather and Cindy Morton Toney. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Rehoboth Baptist Church, with the Rev. Derrell Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the church.
