Funeral for Bobby Lee Carter, 71, of Decatur will be Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Berry and the Rev. Curtis Stanford officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Carter died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at his residence. He was born June 21, 1932, in Morgan County to L. Carter and Virginia Marsh Carter. He was a retired machine operator at Wolverine Tube. Survivors include his wife, Eva O. Carter; two daughters, Kathy Sue Tindell of Decatur, and Virginia Tate of Huntsville; one sister, Billy Dean Morgan of Brooket, Ga.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Tim Cook, John Cook, Ben May, Michael Beckham and Chuck Tindell.
