Bobby E. Anderson passed away Jan. 2, 2008, at Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Bobby was born in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, to Charles and Lois Anderson on April 26, 1931. He married Nellie Sweatt on May 31, 1950. He is survived by his wife, Nellie; three sons, Stan Anderson and Lisa, Strafford, Missouri, Brad and Kelly Anderson of Springfield, and Danny Bob Anderson of Springfield; one brother, Charles Anderson of Amarilla, Texas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Bobby was a graduate of Mtn. Grove High School, class of '49. He joined the U.S. Air Force where he served his country for four years. Following his discharge, he was employed at Kraft Foods until his retirement. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Springfield or Good Samaritan Boys Ranch.
