Blanche Carson Perry, 101, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005 at Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg. Mrs. Perry was the widow of the late Bryan Jaudon Perry.She was born on April 24, 1903 in Athens, Ga., to the late Joseph Leon Carson and Effie Mathews Carson.Mrs. Perry was a homemaker, a Sinclair Oil Jobber, a school teacher at Ridgeland Elementary School, an employee of Perry's Grocery on Main Street in Ridgeland and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was also a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star and an active supporter of the Girl Scouts.She is survived by her three children, Caroline P. Bell, of West Columbia, Bryan J. Perry II, of Greenville and Albert T. Perry, of St. Louis, Mo. She leaves six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, Ridgeland, with visitation from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Ridgeland Cemetery, Ridgeland, SC.Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements.
