MORRISON _ Blanche Jane (nee Preece) passed away suddenly on January 21, 2007 at the age of 70 years. Predeceased 7 months ago by her loving husband "Capt. Bill". Celebrating and remembering her wonderful life are her sisters, Doreen Rasmussen (Mekel) and May Grigg, cousin Queenie Comley, niece Linda Rasmussen and nephews, Darcy Rasmussen (Margaret Inglis), Darrell Grigg, Darren Grigg (Kimberley). Also left to mourn are her stepchildren, Barbara Morrison, Sue McRurie (Roger) and Bill; sisters-in-law Kay Davies (Al) and Marjorie Morrison (Tim O'Neal); and grandchildren, Scott and Danica. Blanche will be greatly missed by everyone at Villa Carital where she volunteered for many years. A celebration of life reception will be held at the Fire Fighters Social and Athletic club (Hose & Hydrant), 6515 Bonsor Ave., Burnaby from 11 am - 3 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Special thanks to the ICU staff at Vancouver General Hospital who provided Blanche and her family wonderful care and kindness.
