JONES, Blanche Pirie May 4, 1924 – Vancouver, BC May 27, 2014 - Calgary, AB Blanche Jones, of Calgary, AB passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Blanche was an artist, sang in the choir with a gifted voice of an Angel, enjoyed golf and tennis, an author and a world traveller. She had a heart for service and cared deeply for others. Blanche was very active in the church and children's activities, and will be deeply missed by many. Blanche is survived by her children; Sandra Codington (John) of California, Graham Jones (Sue) of New Zealand, Barbara Jones of Australia, Colin Jones (Gina) of Calgary, many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Blanche was predeceased by her husband Lloyd on February 23, 2014. She passed into heavenly hands to join Lloyd, her husband of 67 years. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
