ANDERSON Blake Bernard November 19, 1935 to June 4, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Blake on June 4, 2008 at Royal Columbian Hospital. Blake struggled with diabetes for 20 years and succumbed to complications associated. He was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba November 19, 1935 to Pat Anderson and Florence Jean (Anderson) Toovey. He will be dearly missed by his brother Carl (Louise) and his sisters Elaine (Harold) and Lola (Les). Blake spent his youth and teenage years in the Lower Mainland and the Interior of BC and married Isabel on April 25, 1964. Together they moved the family to Fernie, BC where he worked in the Line Creek Mines and raised his children; Steven (Marie), Jason (Andrea) and Tracey (Magnus). In his retirement years, Blake moved back to Vancouver and enjoyed his time with his 3 grandchildren; Faith, Marley and Hallina. His passing was not quick - but it was sudden and his family has made the decision to grieve privately. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly apprecicated.
