Billy Ray Edwards - Savannah -Billy Ray Edwards, 57, of Savannah, Georgia, and formerly of Augusta, Georgia, husband of Elizabeth Williams Edwards, died Monday morning, May 8, 2006, at his home under the care of Hospice Savannah. Born in Union, South Carolina, he was a son of George Ray Edwards and the late Thelma Webber Edwards. Billy was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and owned and operated Window World of Savannah. He was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Vietnam War. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Joseph Musmeci. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Williams Edwards of the home; three daughters, Laura Morton of Houston, Texas, Molly K. Edwards and Carley G. Edwards, both of Augusta, Georgia; his father, George Ray Edwards of Daytona, Florida, and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue. Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
