He was born on June 22, 1932 in Verona, the son of the late Charles and Zella (Hailey) Edwards. He was united in marriage on June 21, 1951 in Eureka Springs, Ark. to Alma Pauline Myers. She preceded him in death on June 24, 2011.He was a retired laborer at Kay Concrete in Aurora, and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Ridge, Mo.Billy is survived by one son, Danny Edwards of Verona; one daughter, Linda Lee of Aurora; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Visitation for Billy is being held on Thursday December 11, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Mo. Funeral services are being held Friday December 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett with Rev. Hubert Conway officiating.
