Billie Jean (Jett) Moore, 63, of Aldrich, formerly of the Ash Grove area, passed away on Monday morning at 3:30 a.m. in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, following an extended illness. Billie was born in Huntsville, Arkansas, and had been a longtime resident of the Ash Grove area, residing in Aldrich the past seven years. She was employed with several motels in the housekeeping dept.. and had cared for the elderly in their homes, and was a member of the Baptist Church. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Pauline Warren Jett; grandson, Brandon Moore; and brother, Kenny Jett. She is survived by the love of her life, Darrell Haun and six children: Terry Moore of Everton, Mo., Janet Isenhower of Ash Grove, Ronnie Moore of Jefferson City, Mo., Shari Baker of Buffalo, Mo, Jerry Moore of Bowling Green, Mo., and Judy Marble of Springfield; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters: Joan Brown of Bois D'Arc, Mo., Howard Jett, Helen Garrett, Debbie Tucker, Hazel Baker, all of Ash Grove, Mo., Bud Jett of the State of Arkansas, Evelyn Snider of Everton, Mo.; Naomi Byrd of Springfield, and Kay Killingsworth of Walnut Grove, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at 11 a.m. in Clear Creek Cemetery, west of Springfield, with Rev. Vicky Klier officiating. Interment will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Wilson-Brim-Daniel Funeral, Ash Grove. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Ash Grove Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Billy requested that the casket be closed at all times.
