-->Beverly V. Harris UNION, SC-- Mrs. Beverly Kay Vinson Harris, age 48, of 203 Glendale Road, Union, died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Harris was born in Union, Jan. 28, 1959, a daughter of Essie Eaves Vinson of Union and the late Everette Vinson. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and was formerly employed with Arthur State Bank having previously worked with Winn-Dixie in Union. Mrs. Harris was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her mother is her fiancée, Anthony Summerlin with whom she made her home and his sons: Joseph Summerlin of the home, Wesley Summerlin of Spartanburg and Charlie Summerlin of Mount Airy, NC; her son, Adam Harris and wife Shelley of West Springs and her daughter Malerie Harris of the home; one sister, Audrey V. Boler and husband Marvin of Union; a niece, Mariah Boler of Union and a special friend, Monica Bogan Price of Jonesville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Alan Quarles. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends, Tuesday from 1:30 until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Active pallbearers will be Bob Humphries, Scott Smith, Danny Comer, Stan Eaves, Joseph Summerlin, Wesley Summerlin, Jonathan Adams, Jerry Smith and Mike Massey. Members of the Laura Farr Sunday School Class are asked to sit in a group. The honorary escort will be Arnold and Monica Bogan Price, Haley N. and Michael Williams, Paige Fuller Turner, Dr. James Bearden and Dr. Robert Wentz.
