Waterford - Beverly Louise (Nesline) Harris, of Waterford, passed away Sept. 2, 2014.Born to Harry and Martha Nesline, "Bev" and sister "Dottie" traveled to several states in pursuit of a better life during the Depression. Changing schools 20 times, Beverly graduated high school and business college, returning to New London with her family.She worked for the Naval Underwater Systems Center as an executive secretary for 47 years, winning many commendations and awards.Married 43 years, Bev was the wife of Joseph G. Harris. They resided in Waterford until his passing in 1994.She is also predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Nesline.Beverly is survived by son, Wayne A. Harris; daughters, Susan L. Harris Barker, Penny J. Harris, and Sherry L. Harris Macaione; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.We'll forever miss our Mother's beautiful blue eyes and smile. Her love and generous heart knew no bounds.We would like to sincerely thank Bayview Healthcare and Masonicare for their kindness and care.Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London.
