Beverly McDonald 1942 - 2013 HOLYOKE - Beverly A. (Becher) McDonald, 70, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Holyoke on Dec. 11, 1942, Beverly was the daughter of the late Hans & Alice (Garriepy) Becher. She worked for 43 years for the National Blank Book/Avery Dennison until she retired in 2004. Beverly is survived by her son, William Mahoney and his wife Dawn of Chicopee, her brother, Arno Becher and his wife Toni of Aubrey, TX, two grandsons, Christopher and Joseph Mahoney, three great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Navaeh and Skyler Mahoney, as well as her beloved "kids", Ginger, Blue, Digger, Hobo and Spooky. The Calling Hours for Beverly will be on Thursday, July 18, from 5-7pm in the Ryder Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley with a Prayer Service to follow in the funeral home at 7pm. Burial will be held privately by her family at a later date.
