-> Mrs. Beverly Cooper passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at Shands Jacksonville Hospital. She attended Walton High School in New York City until she moved to Savannah, GA., at a young age. Mrs. Beverly Cooper was preceded in death by her mother Mrs. Ceophia Frazier, her two sisters Geraldine Frazier and Gertrude Hamilton. Mrs. Beverly A. Grant-Cooper leaves to mourn her husband, James Cooper, Jr, Savannah, GA; her father, Otis Collins, Bronx, NY; three daughters, Selena Grant, Hinesville, GA, Charlesetta "Nicole" (Steve) Brown, Jacksonville, FL and Courtney Grant, Savannah, GA; a son, Charles E. Grant, Jr., Savannah, GA; a step-son, James Cooper, III; three sister, Jessie (James) Blunt, Savannah, GA, Florence Purdy, New York, Serena (Samuel) Bryant, Savannah, GA; two brothers, Raymond Purdy and Tyrone Purdy both from New York; three grand-daughters, Brittany Grant, Bianca Grant and Shanika Grant; two grandsons, Warne ll Brown and Keon Brown. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sidney A. Jones Funeral Home.
